“Variabili”

This work is the result of an experimental creative process of uncontrolled visual relationships. A celebration of the hybridisation of photography and painting, the abstract and the real. The result is a corpus of images that emerge from a conceptually cinematic process in which (the variables of) time, light, reflection, water and the photographic shot merge into forms that are impalpable, involuntary and unpredictable.
A complexity of variables that give life to a dimension that does not exist in reality, but in the reality I have constructed.
A fluid and ephemeral reality that is imprinted in micro-instants. The focus of the research is to give visual consistency to the thought processes, to let the photographic medium be explored without expecting formal icons. Images imprinted on a very material support like canvas for painting.
