I am a visual artist and photographer with a formal education from the Accademia di Belle Arti di Firenze and Brera in Milan. My work moves between analog and digital practices, with a strong interest in the photographic image as a form of memory, preservation, and documentation.
Over the years, I have developed visual projects that span darkroom printing, image post-production, editorial design, and basic photographic restoration. I explored these fields in depth during a traineeship at the Arquivo Municipal de Lisboa – Fotográfico, where I collaborated on archiving, digitization, conservation, and curatorial support for photographic collections and exhibitions.
I also worked at Hangar – Centro de Investigação Artística, a dynamic cultural space in Lisbon where I was involved in the planning of visual communication, photographic documentation of events, and editorial layout for publications. This experience allowed me to work closely with the international artists-in-residence, contributing to the production and setup of contemporary art exhibitions, as well as the creation of digital and print materials for the center’s programming.
My artistic research focuses on the relationship between personal memory and everyday environments, often using photography as a tool for building visual archives of lived experience. This approach was central to my solo exhibition Conservati e Ritrovati, curated by Claudia Mastrogirolamo for the Light On project during the Di Strada in Strada Festival (Santa Sofia, 2021).
In addition to my personal work, I have experience as a freelance photographer, producing commissioned images for exhibitions, architecture, and events. I have also led creative photography workshops for adults and children, combining technical knowledge with a hands-on, accessible approach.
I work fluently with tools such as Lightroom, Photoshop, Capture One, and InDesign, and I am particularly interested in the intersection between archival processes and artistic production.
